Dr. Lanka Mahesh holds a Bachelor’s degree in Dental Surgery, a Master’s degree in Business Administration, and a Diploma in Hospital Administration and Health and Hospital Management. In addition, he has completed a Master’s Certificate in Implant Dentistry from UCLA, USA & CUFD, THAILAND. He currently serves as a visiting professor at the University of Murcia in Spain (UCAM) and is the academic director of Post Graduate Education at UCAM. Dr. Lanka Mahesh is also an Honorary Visiting Professor at ITS College of Dentistry in Ghaziabad, UP, India. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Integrated Implantology and serves as an Honorary Consultant to the Armed Forces of India. Dr. Lanka Mahesh is a Fellow and Diplomate of ICOI, USA, and a Fellow and member of the credentialing committee WAUPS (World Academy of Ultrasonic Piezosurgery), Korea. He holds the position of Editor-in-Chief of The International Journal of Oral Implantology and Clinical Research and has delivered lectures worldwide. With over 188 publications in national and international peer-reviewed journals, he is highly regarded in his field. Dr. Lanka Mahesh is the author of the textbook “Practical Guide to Implant Dentistry,” published by Quintessence, and has co-authored the textbook “Colour Atlas of Oral Implantology” with Craig Misch, David Schwarz, and Praful Bali. This book was released by the President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee, on May 17, 2017, at the Rashtrapati Bhavan. Currently, Dr. Lanka practices specialized implant dentistry in New Delhi, India, and has trained over 6000 dentists in the field of Oral Implantology.
