He embarked on his Urological journey as an Assistant Professor at MS Ramaiah Medical College in Bangalore. Throughout his career, he has served as a Senior Consultant Urologist, specializing in Laparoscopic & Transplant Surgery, at renowned institutions such as Apollo Hospital and Fortis Hospital in Bangalore, as well as in Nigeria. Currently, Dr. Raju holds the position of Professor in Urology at Rajarajeswari Medical College and serves as the Chief Consultant at Blue Bliss Hospital in Bangalore. Additionally, he contributes his expertise as a visiting Urology Consultant, performing surgeries in a prominent hospital in Iraq. Dr. Raju’s proficiency extends beyond routine endo urological procedures, as he has a keen interest in Laser urology, having successfully conducted over 2000 Laser Prostate Surgeries and Laser surgeries for stones (RIRS). He is also highly skilled in Pediatric reconstructive urology, particularly in Hypospadias repair. Notably, Dr. Raju has performed over 200 Renal Transplants, including Pediatric Renal Transplants. He is widely recognized for his proficiency in Laparoscopic urological procedures, encompassing surgeries for Renal, Prostate, and Bladder cancer.
