Dr. K. Uma is an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist affiliated with Cloudnine Hospital in Thyagaraya Nagar, Chennai. She specializes in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and collaborates with Tamara Hospital to enhance women’s healthcare services. Dr. Uma completed her fellowship in Gynaecology and Infertility at the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in the United Kingdom. Additionally, she is a member of the National Academy of Medical Sciences, recognized by the National Board of Examination.

With extensive experience, Dr. K. Uma has taught both undergraduate and postgraduate medical students at Madras Medical College and MS Ramaiah Medical College, where she served as a senior professor and head of the department. She achieved the first rank in her Master’s program. Dr. Uma has authored approximately 25 publications in national and international journals, contributed chapters to postgraduate textbooks, and serves on the South Asian advisory panel for the Gynec Endocrinology textbook “Speroff” and “Operative Gynaecology” by Te Linde.
