Dr. K. Jaishankar serves as the Director and Mentor of Cardiology and Electrophysiology at MIOT International Hospitals located in Manapakkam, Chennai. With 27 years of extensive experience in his specialty, he has established a significant presence in the field. Dr. Jaishankar earned his MBBS degree from Stanley Medical College & Hospital in Chennai in 1991, followed by an MD from MGM Medical College in 1996, and a DM in Cardiology from MAMC GB Pant Hospital in New Delhi in 2001.
He is a Life Member of the Cardiology Society, the Indian Medical Association, and the Indian Heart Rhythm Society, and he holds Fellow status with both the European Society of Cardiology and the Indian Academy of Medical Specialties. Among the various services he offers are Implantable Cardioverter-Defibrillators (ICDs), Coronary Angiograms, and Pacemaker Implantations.
