Dr. Janice developed a passion for Pediatrics during her MBBS studies. After graduating from Dr. MGR Medical University in Tamil Nadu, she decided to pursue a 2-year Diploma in Child Health from Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College in Belgaum. She was quickly hired as a Consultant Resident Pediatrician at Century Hospital in Kerala, where her skills and empathy with patients earned her the trust of both patients and hospital staff. She later moved to Kolkata and worked at Bhagirathi Neotia Women & Child Care Centre before joining the largest Pediatric Tertiary Care Centre in East India, AMRI Women & Children’s Hospital in Kolkata. Here, she specialized in Neonatology and further honed her skills in Neonatal Intensive Care and Pediatric Intensive Care. She then took on the role of Resident Pediatrician at CSI Kalyani Multispeciality Hospital in Chennai and was nominated for a Special Observatory Training in Pediatric Intensive Care, which she completed at Sri Rama Chandra Medical College in Porur, Chennai. She also completed a specialized course on Pediatric Intensive Care at Christian Medical College in Vellore, certified by the Australian Board. In 2015, she relocated to Bangalore and has been with us ever since, bringing her extensive experience in General Pediatrics and Pediatric sub-specialties from her work across India. Dr. Janice is fluent in Malayalam, Tamil, Bengali, and Kannada, in addition to English and Hindi. She has a special interest in the care of newborns and the early years of life.
