Dr. Janaki Rajagopalan holds an MBBS, MD in Psychiatry, and DNB in Psychiatry, bringing 16 years of experience in the field, with 12 years dedicated to her specialization. She completed her training at one of India’s esteemed institutions, Maulana Azad Medical College, affiliated with Delhi University. In 2006, she was honored with the Young Psychiatrist Award by the Delhi Psychiatric Society. After earning her MD in 2008, she served as an assistant professor of psychiatry at Sri Ramachandra University in Porur for four years.
Following this, she pursued a Fellowship with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatry in Australia, where she practiced as a general adult psychiatrist until January 2016. Dr. Rajagopalan is also a member of the Royal College of Psychiatry in Edinburgh. She emphasizes that emotional well-being encompasses not just the absence of mental illness but also the capacity to adapt and thrive in dynamic and challenging environments. As psychiatrists, our goal should be to assist individuals in recognizing and achieving their full potential.
