Dr. Sridhar Jakkepally is a highly skilled and experienced spine surgeon with a diverse background, having practiced in various esteemed institutions globally. He received his training at The Ganga Hospital in Coimbatore, one of the most prestigious medical facilities in the world.
Additionally, he completed international fellowships in spine surgery in both France and Japan. Throughout his career, he has benefited from the guidance of notable mentors, including Prof. S. Rajasekaran, Dr. Ajoy Prasad Shetty, and Dr. V. Surya Prakash Rao.
His international collaborations include working with Prof. Jean Mark Vital at Groupe Hospitalier Pellegrin – CHU de Bordeaux and Prof. Yukihiro Matsuyama at Hamamatsu University School of Medicine in Japan.
Dr. Sridhar Jakkepally has extensive experience in managing a wide range of spinal conditions, including lumbar disc prolapse, lumbar canal stenosis, spinal infections such as tuberculosis and other non-tuberculous causes, as well as deformities like scoliosis and kyphosis.
He is adept at treating neoplastic conditions affecting the spine and addressing spinal fractures that result in paraplegia and quadriplegia. His expertise also encompasses minimally invasive spine surgery and various non-surgical interventions, including selective nerve root blocks and caudal epidural steroid injections.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Sridhar Jakkepally is actively involved in research and academic pursuits, having presented his findings at numerous national and international conferences and published his work in various reputable journals.
He completed his undergraduate (MBBS) and postgraduate (MS-Ortho) education at Gandhi Medical College in Secunderabad, Telangana, and holds a DNB in Orthopaedics from the National Board of Examinations in New Delhi.
