Dr. Inthu M earned her Master’s degree in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from Sri Ramachandra Medical College and Research Institute. She possesses a profound passion for women’s healthcare and has specialized knowledge across nearly all areas of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Whether addressing issues related to pediatric gynaecology, adolescent gynaecology, high-risk obstetrics, ultrasound or fetal medicine, advanced infertility, embryology, general gynaecology, laparoscopy, hysteroscopy, robotic surgery, urogynaecology, gynaecological oncology, menopause, contraception, medical termination of pregnancy, or cosmetic gynaecology, she has received extensive training and expertise in each domain. This comprehensive skill set allows her patients to receive all necessary consultations without the need to visit multiple specialists.
Dr. Inthu M favors medical management over surgical options, and when surgery is unavoidable, she opts for minimally invasive techniques rather than traditional open surgeries. She is proficient in laparoscopy, hysteroscopy, and robotic surgery. Her training began with a basic course in minimally invasive surgery in Gynaecology at the Minimal Invasive Surgery Training Institute, followed by a Fellowship and Diploma in Minimal Access Surgery from the World Laparoscopic Surgeon. Additionally, she obtained a Diploma in Advanced Laparoscopy for Urogynaecology and Gynaecological Oncology from Kiel University in Germany.
She is certified in Colposcopy by Action Cancer Hospital in Delhi and is an operative Hysteroscopy surgeon certified by the World Laparoscopic Hospital and Dr. Osama Shawaki in Egypt. Dr. Inthu holds a Fellowship from the International College of Robotic Surgeons (FICRS) through the Intuitive Surgical “Da Vinci” Surgical System Training Module. Her key strength lies in her ability to clearly communicate patients’ conditions and actively involve them and their families in the decision-making process.
Most of her patients achieve natural conception with minimal medication, and for those requiring IVF or ICSI services, she has completed a fellowship in Assisted Reproductive Technology from the International Association of Assisted Reproductive Technology.
