His research on hypertension and heart failure was conducted alongside distinguished professors in the UK.
Dr. Harikrishnan Parthasarathy then underwent six years of comprehensive training in general and interventional cardiology within the esteemed Cambridge deanery. Additionally, he was selected for a year of advanced interventional cardiology training at St. Michael’s Hospital, University of Toronto, Canada. Dr. Harikrishnan Parthasarathy has shared his research and clinical findings at numerous cardiology conferences across Europe and North America.
His extensive expertise includes performing coronary angiograms and angioplasty (both radial and femoral), right and left heart catheterization, and complex percutaneous coronary interventions such as primary PCI, rotablation, left main stem stenting, chronic total occlusion (CTO) procedures, bifurcation PCI, peripheral angioplasty, IVC filter placement, intravascular ultrasound (IVUS), optical coherence tomography (OCT), fractional flow reserve (FFR), permanent pacemaker implantation, balloon mitral valvuloplasty, percutaneous atrial septal defect closures, and bioresorbable scaffold (Absorb) implantation.
