Dr. Gowtham Sivaswamy earned his medical degree from Rajah Muthiah Medical College in Chidambaram, where he also completed his postgraduate training in Pediatrics. In 2012, he took on the role of Senior Registrar at Dr. Mehta’s Children Hospital in Chetpet, Chennai, working in the Pediatrics Department alongside Dr. S. Thangavelu, Dr. N. C. Gowri Shankar, and their team. Dr. Gowtham Sivaswamy subsequently developed a keen interest in Pediatric Pulmonology, receiving training from distinguished Pediatric Pulmonologists Dr. L. Subramanyam, Dr. A. Balachandran, and Dr. N. C. Gowrishankar.

Additionally, Dr. Gowtham Sivaswamy contributed to the Pediatric Department at Sooriya Hospital in Vadapalani and the Neonatology Department at MMM in Mogappair under the Sahisnantha Trust. Dr. Sivaswamy is certified in both Neonatal and Pediatric Advanced Life Support. He has participated in numerous seminars and conferences across India to enhance his expertise in newborn and pediatric care. Furthermore, he is a life member of the Indian Academy of Pediatrics.
