Following the completion of his postgraduate studies (MS), he underwent advanced surgical training in General, Laparoscopic, and Bariatric Surgery in both the United Kingdom and Belgium. His expertise lies in Obesity Surgery, including procedures such as Sleeve Gastrectomy, Gastric Bypass, Mini Gastric Bypass, and Gastric Balloon placement.
Additionally, Dr. Girish Bapat is well-versed in advanced Laparoscopic Surgeries, which encompass Laparoscopic Inguinal Hernia Repair, Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy for gallbladder stone disease, Nissen Fundoplication for Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD), Laparoscopic Incisional Hernia Repair, and Endoscopy.
