Dr. Gaurav Gupta earned his Bachelor’s degree from R V Dental College in Bangalore and his Master’s in Orthodontics from Saraswati Dental College in Lucknow. As a distinguished student, he remains committed to continuous learning and has pursued advanced training in areas such as Lingual Orthodontics, Orthodontic Implants, and CAD-CAM Aligners. He is the author of the book “Visual Treatment Objective in Orthodontics-An Update,” published by a German publisher. In addition to his numerous publications in both national and international journals, he serves on the editorial boards of several esteemed journals. Dr. Gupta is a Fellow of the World Federation of Orthodontists and is passionate about integrating technology into dental practice, having completed a certification in Digital Marketing from EduCBA School of Business Studies. He has also obtained certifications in advanced orthodontic techniques, including lingual orthodontics under Dr. Hee Moon Kyung in Korea, orthodontic mini-implants with Dr. Thomas Leitz in Germany, and CAD/CAM aligners through Invisalign. He completed a mini residency in Advanced Orthodontics at Taipei Medical University in Taiwan. Dr. Gupta actively participates in national and international conferences, both attending and lecturing, to stay abreast of the latest developments in orthodontics. He played a key role in digitizing the voting process for the Indian Orthodontic Society’s elections, which was trialed during the 24th PG Convention in Hyderabad. He has served as an Executive Committee member of the IOS for the past two years and currently holds several leadership positions, including Chairman of the Public Awareness Committee, Chairman of the IOS Apps Committee, Chairman of the Mission Embrace Committee, and Section Editor of IOS Times 2020, while also managing his private dental practice in Pune.
