Dr. Devaraj M has accumulated 15 years of experience in the field of cataract and Refractive surgery, establishing himself as a prominent figure in the realm of eye care. He completed his medical studies at JJM Medical College, Davangere, and pursued post-graduation in ophthalmology at Kasturba Medical College, Manipal in 2001. Following this, he underwent an advanced fellowship in Anterior segment at Sankara Eye Institutions in Coimbatore, focusing on cataract surgery, medical Retina, glaucoma, among others. As a consultant at Sankara eye hospital, he has successfully conducted over 20000 cataract and other surgeries. Dr. Devaraj M also possesses expertise in medical retina procedures such as fundus flourescein angiography and retinal panretinal photocoagulation lasers for diabetic retinopathy treatment. His proficiency extends to premium eye surgeries like multifocal IOLs, toric IOLs, and implantable collamer lens (ICL) implantation for high refractive errors. He later joined Vasan eye care hospital as a senior consultant in 2007, working across various units until 2013. Currently, he serves as the Medical Director at Nuo Garden City Eye hospital in Chandra Layout and as a part-time Senior Consultant Ophthalmologist at Columbia Asia Hospital in Hebbal, Bangalore.
