Dr. Chendilnathan, MBBS, M.Ch (Neuro), operates the London Neuro Clinic located in Velachery, Chennai. With 24 years of extensive experience in neurosurgery, he began his professional journey in 1986. He completed a five-year direct M.Ch. program in Neurosurgery at Madras Medical College, Chennai. In 1992, he successfully obtained a Diplomate in Neurosurgery from AIIMS, Delhi, passing on his first attempt. Following this, he moved to the UK, where he worked at the esteemed Walton Neurosurgical Centre in Liverpool from 1992 to 1998.
During his time in England, Dr. Nathan achieved the FRCS qualification and also passed the FRCS (Intercollegiate Neurosurgery) examination, a distinction awarded by all four Royal Colleges of the United Kingdom, making him the only neurosurgeon in South India to receive this honor. Upon returning to India in 1998, he served as a Professor in the Neurosurgery Department at GH, Chennai, until 2005.
In 2000, he established his clinic in Velachery and also practiced at Apollo Hospitals, gaining a stellar reputation among neurological specialists in Chennai. In June 2006, he launched the Xcellent Scan Centre in Ekkattuthangal, which remains operational today, featuring the XGY Advanced Open MRI Scan. By September 2010, he founded the Xcellent Care Super Speciality Hospital (P) Ltd in Velachery, Chennai, where he currently serves as the Managing Director.
