Having completed my studies at Calcutta National Medical College in 1994, I relocated to the UK in 1996, where I worked in some of the leading university hospitals across the country. Following my Basic Surgical Training within the NHS, I obtained the MRCS qualification from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow in 2001.
Subsequently, I embarked on rigorous and comprehensive surgical training in Adult Cardiac Surgery within the NHS. I had the distinct privilege of collaborating with some of the foremost cardiac surgeons globally, for which I am profoundly grateful.
Their invaluable support and mentorship enabled me to successfully pass the esteemed FRCS Intercollegiate Examination in Cardiothoracic Surgery, widely regarded as one of the most prestigious achievements in our field.
