Dr. Anuj Chawla is a fellowship-trained foot and ankle surgeon based in the Delhi-NCR region. He possesses a robust academic background and extensive experience as an orthopaedic surgeon. He earned his MBBS from the esteemed Maulana Azad Medical College in Delhi, where he graduated with distinction. Following this, he completed his postgraduate studies in Orthopaedics at Safdarjung Hospital and Vardhman Mahavir Medical College, both of which rank among the top 10 medical colleges in India. After three years of service at Lok Nayak Hospital in Delhi, his desire for further knowledge led him to Singapore, where he spent nearly seven years at Tan Tock Seng Hospital.
Additionally, he has completed his DNB in Orthopaedics, the Diploma SICOT Examinations, and the FRCS in Trauma & Orthopaedics from Glasgow. In 2016, Dr. Anuj Chawla was awarded the SICOT fellowship, which he pursued in Madrid, Spain. Recognizing the gap in foot and ankle training in India and the shortage of specialized surgeons, he chose to focus on foot and ankle surgery. His academic achievements and contributions to the field facilitated a six-month fellowship at the historically significant Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital in Oswestry, UK, accredited by the British Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society. Upon completing his fellowship, he returned to India and joined CK Birla Hospital for Women in Gurugram as a consultant orthopaedic and foot & ankle surgeon.
