Prof. Dr. A K Varshney possesses a wealth of experience in the field of internal medicine, encompassing extensive clinical, teaching, and administrative roles spanning over four decades.
Previously, he held esteemed positions as a former professor, senior consultant, and head of the Department of Medicine at Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Medical Sciences and Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital in New Delhi.
Additionally, he served as a postgraduate teacher, supervisor, and examiner for MD (Medicine) students.
Notably, he provided advisory services to UPSC, Delhi for Combined Medical Services and served as a visiting physician to seven Prime Ministers of India from 1996 to 2021.
Prof. Dr. A K Varshney’s areas of expertise include hypertension, diabetes and metabolic disorders, thyroid disorders, asthma and respiratory diseases, gastrointestinal disorders, infectious diseases, geriatric health evaluation, and preventive health check-ups.
