Dr. Anil Dhall graduated from the Armed Forces Medical College in Pune in 1982. He completed his postgraduate studies at Bombay University and underwent postdoctoral training in Cardiology at GB Pant Hospital in Delhi. After dedicating 25 years to the Indian Armed Forces, he voluntarily retired in 2007 from his role as Senior Adviser and Professor of Medicine and Cardiology at the Army Hospital (Research & Referral) in Delhi Cantt. Since then, he has been associated with several prominent multispecialty corporate hospitals in the Delhi NCR region, where he has provided care to his patients with expertise, compassion, and commitment.
His roles have included Senior Consultant and Unit Head at Max Heart & Vascular Institute, Director and Head of Cardiology at Artemis Health Institute, Director of Cardiology at Delhi Heart & Lung Institute, and Director of Cardiovascular Sciences at both Sarvodaya Hospitals in Faridabad and Venkateshwar Hospital in Dwarka. Dr. Dhall possesses extensive and varied experience, with particular interests in Clinical and Preventive Cardiology, Complex Coronary Interventions, Peripheral Interventions, Carotid Angioplasty, Endovascular Aortic Aneurysm Repair, Structural Heart Interventions, Cardiac Electrophysiology and pacing, as well as Cardiac Resynchronization Therapy.
He has played a significant role in developing Clinical and Interventional programs and has contributed to academic growth, training, audits, and patient education initiatives. His clinical practice encompasses the management of Hypertension, Diabetes, High Cholesterol, Angina, Palpitations, Syncope, Breathlessness, and Heart Failure, and he is often sought for impartial second opinions regarding all facets of cardiac care. A respected educator, he has served as a teacher and proctor at numerous national and international forums, authored various publications and book chapters, and regularly conducts physician training programs at multiple levels. He has also been a postdoctoral teacher and examiner in Cardiology, guiding research activities for ICMR, AFMRC, and others. In recognition of his distinguished services to the Armed Forces, he was awarded the SENA MEDAL by the President in 2005.
