Dr. Amitabh brings 17 years of extensive experience in treating patients with brain and spine disorders. He completed his neurosurgical training at the esteemed Sree Chitra Tirunal of Medical Sciences and Technology and received additional training at the prestigious National Institute of Mental Health and Sciences, Bengaluru. His expertise includes performing various surgeries such as complex brain tumors, clipping of aneurysm, AVMs, Epilepsy and Deep brain stimulation, spine surgeries, Endoscopic and minimally invasive surgeries. With 14 years of practice in Delhi, he has previously worked at MAX hospital, BL Kapoor hospital, Indian Spinal Injuries Center, and was the head of Fortis hospital Shalimar Bagh before pursuing advanced training and clinical fellowship in neuro-oncology / stereotactic radiosurgery and functional neurosurgery from University of Virginia and AGH, Pittsburgh in the United States in 2017. He is also trained in Endo-skull base surgery from Ohio State Medical Center and had been NTRI fellow at The Alfred hospital, Melbourne, Australia. Dr. Amitabh has contributed to highly acclaimed international journals and has presented in various national and international scientific meetings. He is committed to staying updated with the latest technology and advances in neurosurgery by attending workshops and conferences, both in India and abroad, with a vision to provide maximum benefit to patients with minimum pain and morbidity.
