Dr. Ambrish Mithal brings over twenty years of extensive experience in the field. He has served in multiple roles within both academic institutions and corporate healthcare settings. His significant contributions to endocrinology, especially in the areas of diabetes, thyroid disorders, and osteoporosis, are widely acknowledged.
Currently, his primary research interests focus on the relationship between diabetes and cardiovascular health, the assessment of novel diabetes treatments, vitamin D nutrition among the Indian population, and strategies for preventing osteoporotic fractures. Additionally, Dr. Mithal is the principal investigator for various clinical trials involving diabetes medications. Notably, he was the first individual to earn a DM in Endocrinology from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in 1987.
