Akshara Mishra holds a MBBS degree and has completed her DNB in psychiatry from MHC Trivandrum. In addition to her qualifications, she has received specialized training in child psychiatry, Behavior Therapy, and Deaddiction from NIMHANS, Bangalore during her post graduation. She began her career as a Senior Resident in psychiatry at IHBAS hospital and later took on the role of Chief SR. Eventually, she served as a Locum Consultant, which is equivalent to the position of Assistant Professor, in the department of psychiatry at IHBAS. Akshara is passionate about adopting a humanitarian approach in her treatment methods and believes in utilizing a combination of pharmacological and psychological therapy whenever possible.
