Dr. Akanksha Sharma

Dr. Akanksha, an experienced Obstetrics & Gynaecology Consultant, is currently located at Apollo Clinic in East of Kailash, New Delhi. With more than ten years of experience, she earned her MBBS from Govt. Kilpauk Medical College, Chennai, and completed her postgraduate training at Vardhman Mahavir Medical College and Safdarjung Hospital, Delhi. Dr. Akanksha also finished a three-year senior residency at LNJP Hospital, affiliated with Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi. She has worked as a Consultant at Rainbow Madhukar Children’s Hospital and Elantis Hospital, New Delhi, and has served as a research scientist at the Indian Council of Medical Research. Dr. Akanksha specializes in managing various obstetric and gynaecological conditions, including ante-natal care for normal and high-risk pregnancies, deliveries (both normal and caesarean), post-natal care, menstrual disorders, uterine and ovarian tumours, laparoscopic procedures, colposcopy, birth control, infertility treatment, and adolescent health issues like PCOS. She is dedicated to education, actively training junior team members, and contributing to conferences and journals. Membership & Affiliation: 1.
