Dr. Aastha Aggarwal is a distinguished graduate of Sriram Murti Smarak Institute of Medical Sciences. With over 9 years of experience in Obstetrics & Gynecology after completing her post-graduation, she has established herself as a highly skilled professional in her field.
During her residency at Dr. Baba Saheb Ambedkar Hospital & Medical College in Delhi, she dedicated 4.6 years to further honing her expertise. Driven by her passion for gynecological surgeries, she pursued one-year fellowships in gynecological laparoscopy, reproductive medicine, and reconstructive & cosmetic gynecology. Additionally, she underwent specialized training in Obstetrics & Gynecology Ultrasound for a year.
Since 2019, Dr. Aastha Aggarwal has been actively performing various Uro-gynecology, Hysteroscopic & Laparoscopic gynecological surgeries, including total laparoscopic hysterectomy, myomectomy, endometriosis & infertility surgeries, TOT surgery, hysteroscopic polypectomy, myomectomy, and synechiolysis. She also specializes in reconstructive surgeries such as vaginoplasty and laparoscopic tubal re canalization.
Reconstructive & cosmetic gynecology is a subspecialty that greatly interests Dr. Aggarwal. She has gained exposure to a wide range of non-invasive and invasive techniques in this field. In 2017, Dr. Aastha Aggarwal completed the First Certification Course in Cosmetic Gynecology in India, conducted by the Indian College of Cosmetic Gynecology. She is now involved in teaching and training others in the field of cosmetic gynecology, with a focus on promoting women’s health, reproductive rights, and sexual well-being. Her expertise extends to addressing issues such as Female Stress Urinary Incontinence, Vaginal laxity, and reconstructive surgeries for congenital & acquired urogenital defects.
As a founding member of The Society of Cosmetic Gynecology (TSCG), Dr. Aggarwal plays a pivotal role in organizing RECOGYN – The World Congress of Reconstructive & Cosmetic Gynecology since 2016. Her dedication and contributions have made her an invaluable asset to the field.
