He currently serves as the Medical Director of the Centre for Eye and Health Care located in Thoraipakkam (OMR), Chennai. Additionally, he holds the position of Honorary Medical Director at Sankara Eye Hospital in Chennai and works as a senior consultant ophthalmic surgeon at Apollo Day Surgery and Apollo Hospitals in Chennai. After completing his MBBS at the University of Calcutta, he pursued an MS in Ophthalmology from PT Ravishankar Shukla University in Raipur.

Dr. Ashok Rangarajan has over ten years of experience as a Senior Consultant Ophthalmologist at Sankara Nethralaya, one of the leading eye institutes in India. He has also served as a consultant ophthalmologist at Belhoul Apollo Hospital in Dubai and as the Director of Eye Services for the Tulsi Chanrai Foundation in Nigeria. His primary areas of expertise include cataract and refractive surgery, glaucoma surgery, and combined cataract and glaucoma procedures, utilizing advanced technologies such as cold phacoemulsification and Micro Incision Phacoemulsification (MICS) to achieve spectacle-free vision post-surgery. Dr. Ashok is also skilled in LASIK, a procedure aimed at correcting refractive errors, drawing on his extensive training and experience at Sankara Nethralaya.
