Dr. Shuchin Bajaj serves as the Founder Director of Ujala Cygnus Hospital, a leading healthcare institution in four states of North India. With a commitment to providing high-quality care for all segments of society, Dr. Shuchin has played a pivotal role in establishing a unique healthcare model that ensures access to quality healthcare for underprivileged sections. In his role at Ujala Cygnus, he oversees the planning, implementation, and monitoring of healthcare projects, as well as the overall administration of the organization, which boasts a staff of over 1700 individuals.
Dr. Shuchin obtained his medical degree from PT. B. D. Sharma Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences, Rohtak in 1998. He has since practiced medicine at renowned hospitals such as Apollo Hospital and Sanjay Gandhi Memorial Hospital. In 2004, he completed his MD in Internal Medicine from Dr. S. N. Medical College, Jodhpur, specializing in treating patients with diabetes. Additionally, Dr. Shuchin has a keen interest in geriatric medicine and has authored numerous papers on the subject.
To further enhance his expertise, Dr. Shuchin pursued a DPCEGP from Boston University and an APSM from IIM Calcutta. He has also been honored with prestigious fellowships, including the Chevening Gurukul Fellowship at King’s College London, fully funded by the British Government’s Foreign and Commonwealth Office, the IHT Fellowship at INSEAD France, the ASPIRE Circle Fellowship conducted at IIM Ahmedabad, and the Stanford SEED Transformation Program, conducted by the Stanford Global Business School.
