Dr. Ponni Sivaprakasam brings 17 years of extensive experience to her role as a Consultant at Gleneagles Global Health City. She serves as a JACIE inspector for the EBMT (European Blood and Marrow Transplantation) group, where she evaluates centers seeking JACIE accreditation and ensures compliance with its standards. Her expertise includes diagnosing and managing cancer patients, overseeing their ongoing treatment and follow-up care. Additionally, she is instrumental in educating junior professionals within the Pediatric Haemato-Oncology Fellowship Program.
Dr. Ponni Sivaprakasam has also taken on a leadership position in the development of the newly constructed pediatric oncology block, which includes the recruitment of nurses, dietitians, social workers, and an oncology pharmacist.
