Dr. Niveditha completed her MBBS from Dr. Pinnamaneni Siddhartha Medical College in Andhra Pradesh between 2005 and 2011, followed by an MD in General Medicine at ASRAM College, Andhra Pradesh from 2012 to 2015. She served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of General Medicine at Kannur Medical College, Kerala from 2015 to 2017. Subsequently,
she underwent Neurology training at KMC Mangalore, Manipal Academy from 2017 to 2020. Dr. Niveditha has extensive experience in managing various neurological emergencies, including Status Epilepticus, AIDP, and Stroke, where she has successfully performed IV Thrombolysis and Mechanical Thrombectomy on numerous patients. Additionally, she has conducted over 100 ENMGs for neuromuscular and trauma cases. Dr. Niveditha has authored several papers published in peer-reviewed medical journals and completed the NESSAN EEG certificate course in November 2020.
Her areas of special interest include Epilepsy, autoimmune disorders, sleep medicine, and related conditions. She has also engaged in discussions on challenging multiple sclerosis cases with Dr. Yurg Kesselring, a leading expert in the field, during his visit to KMC Mangalore. Committed to community service, she has organized and participated in free medical camps and public health awareness initiatives. Dr. Niveditha is a Life Member and Consultant for CHD – Centre for Health and Development, a global volunteer organization dedicated to improving rural health in India.
