Dr. Madhur Mahna is a skilled and dynamic orthopaedic surgeon based in New Delhi. He specializes in treating complex trauma, arthroplasty, arthroscopy, and paediatric orthopaedic diseases. Dr. Mahna obtained his medical degree from Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore, Manipal University in 2010. He then pursued his post-graduation in Orthopaedics from Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals, Delhi in 2014.
After completing his post-graduation, Dr. Mahna worked as a Senior Resident at Sanjay Gandhi Memorial Hospital, Delhi. During his time there, he independently attended to an average of 80-90 patients daily in the OPD. He also performed approximately 4-5 independent procedures per week, which mainly included trauma cases (both simple and complex, including elbow reconstruction and other periarticular fractures) and cold orthopedic procedures such as osteotomies and pediatric deformities.
Dr. Mahna has had the privilege of working with internationally renowned faculty, which has provided him with excellent training in various orthopedic procedures. His expertise lies in knee and hip arthroplasties (having performed over 400 knee and 150 hip arthroplasties), revision arthroplasties, arthroscopies (knee, shoulder, ankle, and elbow), pediatric orthopedic procedures (acetabuloplasties, femoral osteotomies, foot deformities, etc.), trauma cases (including complex fractures of the sacral and pelvic region), spine surgeries, and cold orthopaedics.
Additionally, Dr. Mahna served as a Junior Consultant in the Department of Paediatric Orthopaedics and Spine at Artemis Hospitals, Gurugram. It was during this time that he received extensive training in children’s orthopaedics, including the treatment of congenital deformities, clubfoot, developmental dysplasia of the hip (DDH), pediatric trauma, acquired deformities, cerebral palsy, and more.
