Dr. Lalitha holds a Master’s degree in Gynecology and has completed a super specialty course in genito-urinary surgery, earning her M.Ch. in Urology. She is recognized as the only female Urologist and Urogynecologist in Hyderabad.
Alongside her husband, Dr. K.V.R Prasad, they form the only urologist couple in India. Dr. Lalitha completed her M.B.B.S. at Kakatiya Medical College, graduating as the best outgoing student in 1987, where she was awarded 10 gold medals. She achieved the Second Rank in the Andhra Pradesh state postgraduate medical entrance examination.
For her advanced studies, she attended the prestigious Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research in Chandigarh, where she earned her M.D. in Gynecology, distinguishing herself as the best postgraduate in the field and receiving a Top Order Medal.
Additionally, Dr. Lalitha secured the First Rank in the A.P. State urology entrance examination and completed her M.Ch. in Urology at Osmania Medical College and Hospital in 1997.
