Dr. Brinda Kalro earned her MBBS and MD degrees in Chennai, India, before moving to the UK, where she achieved her MRCOG in 1994 and FRCOG in 2007. She spent a year working as a Specialist Registrar in the Assisted Conception Unit. Subsequently, she was accepted into a prestigious Fellowship program in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (REI) at Magee Women’s Hospital, University of Pittsburgh, which she commenced in July 1997.
After completing her fellowship in 2001, she joined the faculty at the same institution as an Assistant Professor until her recent relocation to India. In addition to her expertise in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, she is now exploring a career in Alternative Medicine. Her areas of interest include Reproductive Endocrinology, Infertility, Adolescent and Menopausal Medicine, Fertility Preservation post-cancer, Medico-legal aspects of ART, and Bioethics in ART. She is also certified in Medical Acupuncture, Mind-Body Medicine, Hypnosis, and Hypnotherapy, which she actively practices.
