She is a board-certified plastic surgeon with extensive experience in plastic, aesthetic, and reconstructive surgeries, specializing in reconstructive procedures and advanced aesthetic techniques. She earned her MBBS from RGUHS University and subsequently completed a surgical internship in the United States, driven by a strong interest in this medical specialty.
She gained valuable experience in the plastic surgery department at Manipal Hospital in Bangalore. Following this, she completed her DNB training in Bangalore and received her DNB in plastic surgery from the Diplomate of National Board in New Delhi. She trained for six years in advanced trauma and reconstructive surgery at Sparsh Hospital, Narayana Health City, Bangalore, under the guidance of leading plastic surgeons, which allowed her to develop exceptional skills in cosmetic, reconstructive, and microvascular surgery through collaboration with various senior professionals in the field.
After obtaining her DNB in plastic surgery, she provided honorary services in the plastic surgery departments at Nizam’s Hospital in Hyderabad and ESIC Hospital in Sanathnagar. Dr. Beena has also been awarded the FAM Fellowship in aesthetic medicine from the Institute of Laser and Aesthetic Medicine at the University Medicine Greifswald in Germany. She is an active life member of several professional organizations, including the Association of Plastic Surgeons of India (APSI), the Indian Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (IAAPS), the Indian Society of Aesthetic Medicine (ISAM), and the Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana (APRAS).
