Dr. Akshay Kudpaje is an accomplished Head & Neck Surgeon with over 13 years of experience in the field. He completed his ENT training in 2010 and went on to pursue a 2-year fellowship training in Head & Neck from KIDWAI, Bangalore. To further enhance his skills, he underwent a 3-year specialized training (MCh – Head & Neck Surgery) from Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Kochi.
In order to gain advanced surgical expertise, Dr. Kudpaje traveled overseas to Sydney and South Korea. During his one and a half year clinical fellowship training in Sydney, under the guidance of Prof. Carsten Palme & A/Prof. Faruque Riffat, he received specialized training in Transoral Laser surgery of the Vocal cord & Airway, as well as various Head & Neck Surgeries. He also obtained certification as an Intuitive certified Head & Neck Robotic surgeon after completing his training at Yonsei University, mentored by Prof. Kim & Prof. Koh, Seoul, South Korea.
Currently, Dr. Kudpaje serves as the Director of the Institute of Head & Neck Sciences at Cytecare Hospital, Bangalore. Previously, he held the position of Program Director in the Division of Minimally Invasive Head & Neck Surgery, Department of Head & Neck Surgical Oncology, at HCG Cancer Center, Bangalore.
Dr. Kudpaje specializes in treating both Benign and Malignant (Cancerous) problems of the Head & Neck, Voice and Airway problems, as well as Swallowing problems. His Multidisciplinary team consists of a specialized Head & Neck Reconstructive surgeon, ENT surgeon, Laryngologist, and other allied specialists who collaborate to provide comprehensive care for complex Oral cavity, Voice box, and Food pipe surgeries.
